My name is Kari Smith.  I am a financial advisor and director of development with Northwestern Mutual.  Our team’s purpose is to increase space for joy in your life by decreasing the stress finances can cause.  We want you to spend your life fully living and doing what you love! I am blessed to also help lead our firm through recruiting and developing great humans who walk through our doors for their career journey.

 Growing up in Minnesota, hockey was a huge part of my life! Our family loves to watch it and play it to this day. We have two littles and a fluffy Sheepadoodle, so we have a lot of fun energy in our house.

 These are a few of my favorite things: Trips to Arizona, golfing, walking, connecting with other women through faith, being by water, and enjoying music! If I am in motion, I am happy!
